Olumba (formerly Arumala) is a triple board certified Cosmetic Surgeon and Gynecologist, a fellowship-trained Reproductive Surgeon & a fellowship-trained Cosmetic Surgeon, making her one of the few surgeons in Texas with specialized training in both Gyn & Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Ruth A. Olumba, DO, MPH, FAACS, FACOG, NCMP, received her medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in New Jersey, her Master of Public Health from Mercer University School of Medicine, and completed her Ob-Gyn specialty training at Georgetown University. After practicing as a solo provider in a boutique OBGYN practice, Dr. Ruth A. Olumba was selected to attend one of two prestigious dual-accredited American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery facial and general cosmetic surgery fellowships in the United States. During this intense hands-on training, she learned the science and art of restoring the body to aesthetically pleasing forms while minimizing and mitigating complications. She has lived and practiced medicine in several cities in the United States and abroad. Her medical and surgical experiences allow her to relate to women across various cultures uniquely.
